Hospital Staff

Registered veterinary technician Anita Higgins has been a member of the Town & Country staff since 2009. She has worked in the animal care field since 2004 and previously owned and operated a Grade-A dairy for more than 18 years. Anita loves animals and is glad to work with caring staff members in a state-of-the-art hospital.

Anita's animal companions include three Beagles, Bo, Brandy, and Tuff. She and her husband, Bob, have five grown children and seven grandchildren who keep them busy. In her spare time, Anita enjoys cooking, sewing, knitting, fishing, and working on anything with a motor.

Stephanie Clark has been a registered veterinary technician since 2004 and became a valued member of Town & Country Veterinary Hospital in 2011. She is excited to work in a practice with modern veterinary medicine and she cares greatly for the well-being of her patients, clients and the other employees she works with. Stephanie's free time is spent with her husband, Brent, and her three children, Morgan, Jacob and Taylor. She also enjoys camping, fishing and reading. Her animal companions include 2 Great Danes, Vixen and Macy, a Siamese cat named Sophie and her hamster Peach.

Katie Rusk has been employed in the veterinary related industry for the past four years and obtained her veterinary technician license from Purdue University in 2011. She joined Town & Country Veterinary hospital in February 2012. Katie lives with her fiancé, her 3 cats, Audrey, Jackson and Faye, and her Golden Retriever/Husky Mix named Turner. In her free time Katie enjoys traveling, reading, fishing, and spending time with her friends and family.
